If you’re being dishonest about about Al Jazeera’s coverage of Khashoggi why should I take anything else you say at face value? https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/2/26/timeline-of-the-murder-of-journalist-jamal-khashoggi

How much do they have to report before they’re allowed to interview a mother whose child was murdered?

He was killed in 2018 so let’s wait 3 years before posting those news from Al Jazeera.

Media manipulation is also about what’s not being shown.

I can’t believe I have to argue for not relying on journalism from an outlet that has conflict of interest at its core. SA is one of the major sides of this conflict. Al Jazeera will avoid presenting SA in bad light. That’s all there is to it and you’re not convinced by receipts so I’ll just let you go on on your merry day.

Keep moving those goalposts. That was just the first relevant article I found by typing ‘Khashoggi’ into their search bar; I have no idea if it was the first they published and frankly I don’t think you do either, since one comment ago your claim was that they didn’t report on it at all.

Nobody should get all their news from one agency or even one country, and they should read all of it with a critical eye. American papers failing to tell stories like this is also an example of media manipulation through what isn’t being told; hiding the devastating human impact of these conflicts would be a form of whitewashing and propaganda.

Claiming I’m the one not convinced by ‘receipts’ (a handful of Wikipedia articles that are only broadly related to the conflicts in question) in response to being shown you have made an objectively false claim tells me you’re not interested in good faith, so bye 👋

Yes, the Wikipedia article on Yemen civil war is too broad. Good bye, wasted too much time already.
