Vance is not reasonable, but he is the legal replacement if Trump is vacated, for whatever reason. Maybe some people will consider him reasonable, but I have to imagine they are either deep republican, or have the intelligence and memory of a goldfish. The scary part is, he's young. If Trump dies in office, we have the real possibility of a 30-year long dictatorship.
I get it, but I think part of the key is, he's so dis-likable. It's true he's got a lot of life ahead of him, but can't see him convincing a dog to do something, let alone a majority of the electorate, or even a majority of the Republicans. He just doesn't have the sway that Trump does. Though I personally cannot understand people who think Trump is charismatic. So incredibly repulsive.
