I'm wondering what the potential casualties figures are for this whole operation?

Also how exactly did they evacuate is something I'm confused about. Isfahan is north of many of the mountains and is a major population center. (It's also beautiful, and my favorite place in Iran, but I'm obviously biased).

Where did they go?

I would guess there were probably more than 2 black hawks involved and they were used to get people out.
