I mean, is it any more clever then someone holding up the leaning tower of Pisa?
Took more effort. Had to go break a lightbulb first and get the metal thingy. Then had to stand in the middle of the square holding the thing like a weirdo, while telling the street vendors that: no, I don't want to buy sunglasses, thanks.
Since it looks a lot like Praça do Comércio in Lisbon, he'd also had to fend off drug dealers. Either that or they though "this quy is already higher than a kite, maybe he doesn't need more"
It is, yes. They're not drug dealers, they're scammers, it's compressed oregano. The cops can't arrest them for selling oregano.
