Please use
$HOMEinstead of this. There are configurations that do not rely on the usual/home/$USERformat. The root user is a good example, having their$HOMEset to/root.Oh heh, yeah, o'course! I wasn't really meaning that seriously, more just riffing off the thread of silly $HOME expansions. :3
Probably good to mention that in case someone comes along and thinks /home/$(whoami) is actually a good idea though, hah.
(Mac has normal users' homes in /Users!!)
Well... I've just checked out, and aside from unofficial Edge flatpak, there are official Debian/Ubuntu and Fedora repositories, I just don't understand why would anyone want to integrate spyware web browser into their system.
Some men just want to see the world burn. 🔥
