I don't want to stick up for companies like Facebook, but

The regulator said it had identified "a number of poor practices" from the five platforms [including] Giving children who had declared they were aged under 16 before the ban the chance to show that they were, in fact, over 16

Australia tries to deny the passage of time.

And other demands that will increase surveillance.
