I think going to sex workers had a very good positive impact on my mental health. It made me feel less anxious and more accepting of other people. I like spending part of the time talking to them to know about their stories. If you put all theatrics of love away, it is a good way to meet open minded women. It's a shame that it gets so demonized

I can honestly imagine being a sex worker in some ways is very similar to being a therapist. I'm sure a good number of people who visit sex workers go for very complex reasons other than just wanting sex and to get the heck out of there after.
