[WP] Finally a technology emerges to stop climate change (feddit.org)

Humanity keeps failing to battle climate change. Consequences seem dire. But suddenly a saving technology emerges: the CO2 engine. It runs on CO2, directly from the atmosphere.

It is obviously crazy cheap, crazy efficient, it stops climate change. Soon the whole world runs on it, everything and everywhere. Humanity gets more dependent than on fossil fuels.

But, alas, of course after some decades the world faces another climate change: global cooling. But the global South does not care about the desperate pleads of the Global North to stop using CO2. Their countries profit from the cooling, from the wealth.

The tables have turned.
