Yeah, I could've worded it better.
People knew and were very much aware of what you said was happening.
Trump lulled many into a false sense of security encouraging them to stand up. Many who otherwise may have had been silent or 'less vocal' because they were so aware, MAYBE thought that they would be backed by the U.S.
???? They've been protesting and dying way before the turnip took office. This has been going on for years.
