My Kdenlive video editor continues to save wherever I want it to for free. Just saying.
And yes, it has a Windows version, if you're too much of a coward to migrate to Linux.
Kdenlive is wild. It's got almost all the features Adobe premiere has.
The best feature they've kept out is the subscription you have to pay to cancel.
