I got an automated phonecall informing me that someone is trying to log in to my TD bank account (lemmy.ca)

Yes, I know this was a scam call. They automate them now so they don't have to talk to you unless you take the bait

I get tons of automated spam calls, I intentionally take the bait and try to waste their time. Lately, they have been targeting Chinese speakers, so it's harder for me to waste their time.

In my case, its Australia, and I think it's that Chinese expats in Aus are somewhat isolated and vulnerable to scams.
