No bigotry. The Union, or at least the part of the Union WE support, fought AGAINST that shite. We are anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, anti-transphobic, and in general anti-bigot here, even if not all the lads in Union blue uniforms were.

The only thing these shitwits have ever cared about is re-cementing the control of racist reactionaries over the Federal government, both before and 'after' they discarded the US flag. The blood on the US flag is significant and not to be downplayed, but it stands for something other than just cruelty. The Confederate flag has no such claim.
Their whole way of life should've been crushed back when they couldn't vote.
There was once a soldier who got a Confederate flag tattoo and posted it on Reddit, but r/army gave him a good grilling, and this famous comment.
Although, I remember learning that Sherman didn't really burn as much as the south exaggerated that he did.
Amen. I blame Andrew Johnson.
