Because identity politics has become their whole substance as the bourgeoisie employed it as a tool for division within the working class.

I know id-pol is obviously not a tool for materialists, but I can't deny it is fun watched white people shut up when you pull the identity card up to degrade the identity card.

Like one of the first things I say is that Iranian diaspora are fascist thugs and should not be trusted. I think I heard Madeline Pendelton provide a very good way of explaining this, by basically just saying that diaspora in the US are like the MAGA of their countries, and the US basically acts as an epicenter for these kinds of people.
