I think we are going to see more and more of this. There is a point when someone will just feel they had enough.

Cancelling my data plan has been great for me. Been reading more too, though the hardest part of it is starting, digital entertainment has such a low barrier of entry and takes so little effort it's hard to compete

I was also trying to read more books. It worked for a while but after two weeks, im back to the phone before sleeping instead of the books...

Will keep trying though.
