Definitely possible but I think Gane has a good shot against Pereira. I honestly don't see Ilia being able to move to welterweight. Plus Islam is probably at his best in ww. Pereira has the most likely chance in my opinion. I am curious to see what power he has when he isn't having to cut.
Yeah, Gane and Pereira will be a decent scrap for sure. I'm leaning toward Pereira, just because Gane has been a bit inconsistent in terms of actually showing up in a few of his fights (as in, he does physically show up but just looks less than stellar).
I'm really keen to see Ilia at WW - I know it's early days of his lightweight run, but the way he starched Charlie Olives like that makes me wonder if anyone at 155 can actually stand and trade with him.
You have a point. Ilia's wins have aged extremely well. Everyone tried to say he was knocking out dudes who were old and washed but that does not seem to be the case. He is insanely good. I want him to sit in lightweight for a minute but down the line it would be really interesting to have that question answered.
