American citizens interest are not what shape US foreign policy or what it uses its military for. You can have an "idea" of what American individuals interest are. But what "America" is, for most of the world, is what America does when serving the purpose of oligarchs. What its actually actions are. It doesn't matter if every person in the American working class didn't want war with Iran. When the bombs drop anyway, that is what "America" is to the people dying from them.
You aren't separating the idea of "an American" (that is someone that lives here) and "America" as it is seen by the people that are under the oppression of its military or economic warfare. All you are doing is defending an "idea" of what Americans want. Which is meaningless unless that idea is actually able to change "America's" actual actions.
I literally never said it's antisemitism to criticize Israel. Did you just not read my comment? I said that antisemitism will be used as a scapegoat by the right to disassociate the crimes of the US and place blame solely on Israel.
Seems like you didn't understand anything I said. Because you just repeated the things my comment already addressed. You can disagree. But you aren't addressing what I said at all. You're just doubling down and ignoring what I said. Which makes me think you just don't understand what my comment was explaining.
Okay so if Israel controls the american politicians who make policies that benefit Israel. How is that American interest?
That's just Israel controlling the U.S.
If u.s interests were the same as Israel, they wouldn't have to pay them off to support Israel. Most of them would agree without needing bribes.
I do think the country is what it's people are. Government is supposed to represent our interests. But it isn't because they have all been bought and are corrupt.
The government officials arent some god-appointed entity that gets to decide what's best for their pockets and treats the people as expendable for that purpose. Their wants do not get to override what the people want just because they are greedy and prideful.
The true goal of a government is to help the people live their best lives. Long term and short term. Making sure legislation is passed to regulate all the things that go into that. Not to enrich itself. Not to grab more power. Not to increase its own wealth.
You are accepting a capitalistic view of government that is harmful. These individuals don't deserve their positions and they certainly don't speak for their people.
When a government no longer represents it's people, its not long before it's overthrown.
The Jewish hate thing is mostly popular in alt right groyper types. They already hate Jews. To be fair they hate most of the worlds people.
Since the mainstream media is controlled and censored right now, it's very clear they are selective on how they describe any bad actions by Israel.
They are always framing it like Israel is the victim. Or israel wasnt the bad guy. So I don't see mainstream media promoting antisemitism. Example:
