Lemme just log in to my Reddit For Business account, tell a quick tale about how I've been sexually harassed, and then run an ad campaign on my favorite website.
More and more I've noticed these ads that don't even push a product, it's just some social justice type topic. They are sloppy by running obvious ads instead of just goosing the algorithm, and no one apparently seems to notice that these are fucking ads. I have even considered doing a little research into who's running these and why but alas I'm apparently not motivated enough.
The question is "who benefits if I believe this?" Asking this is one of the strongest safeguards against manipulation a person can cultivate. That said I don't have a clue.
