People who complain about censorship sound fucking ridiculous. Every single censored post is censored because they come from platforms with algorithms, and those algorithms demote posts with certain words, like fuck. That's it. That's why the censorship exists.
If you're on Lemmy you've already agreed to put up with the censorship. If it bothers you this much, block anyone who posts a something censored. Or post your own uncensored shit. Now that you know, will you shut the fuck up about the censorship? Your complaints are more annoying than the actual censorship.
That's the point. Not enough people are sufficiently annoyed by censorship so I'm going to be anoying about it.
I seriously doubt serial posters like Ladybutterfly would post as much as they do if they had to filter through posts for something as trivial as a single word having squiggles on it.
The people who feel strongly about this should post their own stuff. Complaining about it on Lemmy is just lazy. Do you really think annoying people on here will change anything?
