Voter apathy, not everyone votes but the crazies are more motivated to do so generally. Plus conservative brainwashed upbringing =/= religious automatically. Plus the American owned propaganda drip feeds they all consume. They believe enemy state media over their own country. Federal Liberals do nothing to prevent this.

We were about 50/50 last election with Calgary fucking us over with FPTP giving UCP the majority, who are Maple MAGA and aligned with the Christian Heritage Foundation, MAGA, and Christian Nationalists groups like Take Back Alberta. Now we have CIA PsyOP campaigns too as USA tries to destabalise Canada by fueling seperatists.

None of this is organic. The province is heavily manipulated.

A large portion of fault is assigned to Jason Kenney who merged the progressive conservative party with the regressive nutjob party called the Wildrose in order to keep winning elections against a strong centrist "NDP" in name only provincial party. Then he had a tantrum and quit after barely winning a confidence vote as the crazies took over the merged party. Now he speaks out against UCP from the sidelines constantly after getting a golden parachute job with ATCO after he deregulated utilities as if it's not his fault. A very dumb, short sighted corrupt unChrist-like Christian is his legacy. A useful idiot. A man with no history of any women in his life and has a brother who ran a gay conversion "therapy" camp. Jason loved to harass gay couples by trying bar loved ones from seeing their dying partners in hospitals when he was younger.
