This will be a huge lift for content discovery. I love the idea of PeerTube, but still struggle with discovery and subscriptions. As the links and videos are populated through communities, it will help!

doesn't PeerTube have voluntary federation amongst instances ? and most have that turned off ? , so finding videos on other instances from an instance you are on can be impossible ? or do i misunderstand how it works ?
