Welcome!

Can you imagine, years ago how the internet was before? We know Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, Youtube. We knew blogger, Tumblr, Skyrock... and long before, it was the forum era as phpBB..and mail-lists.

And now with ActivityPub, we are reshaping the web, and achieving much more with lots of freedom. So thank you all, and welcome 🀟😁

My goal is to average 1 post and 7 comments a week. I started late, and not there yet, but hope to get there within the next month. Do you have any goals or plans on building the Fediverse?

I heard there was a plan to do a monthly Piefed β€œhackathon” to improve Piefed, but I think that was mostly for translation. Is there any update on that or any other interesting plans out there to improve any part of the Fediverse?

I've been scheduling posts fairly regularly on my non-admin account. When I left Reddit, I started following a number of RSS feeds and newsletters, so there's always one or two things each day worth sharing (and usually more when I skip a few days).

Otherwise I'm hoping to spread more of the positivity that I got when I started out here :)
