Because in Brazil people live closer to reality.

in the USA people are so safe and rich, they tend to live in their own heads and be totally out of touch of the things going on around them. Hence why we have so many crackpots who never talk to their neighbor, but yet somehow know they are secretly worshiping Satan and destroying society because they drive a Tesla.

Hell on reddit a few days ago on a Seattle subreddit there was a HUGE thread about how anyone who drives a Tesla is automatically a trump loving ignorant racist bigot human being... 50% of my neighbors drive Teslas, and if I don't hate them then I too, am automatically a evil trump supporting hateful bigot.

And if you actually talked to your Tesla driving neighbors you might find out that maybe it's not that simple. They don't support Trump but they bought a Tesla 4 years ago because of the subsidies and they are planning on getting another car but it doesn't make sense of them to get a new one for another 4 years. And 4 years ago buying a Tesla was a 'good' thing, and only since 2025 is it a 'bad' thing.

The biggest poison in American is how totally detached people are from the notion other people are just people like themselves.
