I was, until now, unfamiliar with the anarchist flag. Thank you for teaching me!
I will never feel shame for the opportunity to learn something new.
Good on you, that is an excellent attitude. And yes, I sensed that your heart was in the right place. It's certainly not a crime to not be familiar with the anarchist flag. It's not something you see regularly hoisted on the threat of violence by a nation.
Ooh, education time!
There are actually quite a few anarchist flags. (Not an exhaustive list; just some examples. Ignore that yellow one. That's for anarcho-capitalism, which is NOT real anarchism, and not even leftism.)
The one I used in the meme is for anarcho-socialism or anarcho-communism, and is one of the more common and recognizable ones. My personal favorite is just the pure black flag of straight-up anarchism, as I feel it mocks the absurdity of having countries and flags in the first place. Plus it's kind of badass. But in a meme, the red and black is more recognizable as a flag and not, like, some weird censorship bar.
