I always love it when you read your manga and at some point the editor just feels like they have to make pages upon pages of lore and explaining, basically staring with "well, you thought you were gonna go watch just a nicelilr Yuri, welp, now you are here, so let me guide you a bit through what already happened".
Tbf, it doesn't just come out of nowhere. Not revealing everything at once makes a story that's inherently tragic into a romcom without making either aspect feel strange. If too much of the lore was revealed early on, the tone would suffer. It really elevates the story beyond being "Mieruko-chan but gayer."
Well now I want a even gayer and more complex "I can see worms" manga.
