No, this is something worse. This is a deliberate attempt at controlling the narrative, a very conscious move to influence the investigation. From the investigating agents (by not treating Good impartially, already being prejudiced by the fact she's not considered a victim as per their orders), through the media, all the way to the courtroom should the case come to that...
