Isn't that true for most places? As a tourist you feel like heaven, but living there is... pretty much like living where you are living right now. Alright, maybe not quite as fucked up as horsey up there. Are you okay, OP?

OTOH, the times I visited Berlin I always felt like part of its charm is closer to the right picture, than the left. Kreuzberg 2018
