Germany is the Western scapegoat, and Hitler is their Satan, but the reality of things is that a shit-ton of Western leaders have been worse to humanity than Mr. Funny Mustache (just not to other Europeans, of course, hence the difference in reaction) and Germany barely struck/invaded folks around the world. Considering Germany and Hitler, and not France or the UK (I'm French and I live comfortably in the UK, lol, but facts are facts) and their leaders, who murdered and pillaged to their hearts' content and colonized entire continents, as the Western big baddies is a ridiculous take, one with at least tinges of white supremacy.
