National Guard wouldn't be outside the US. The embassy is outside the US. Marines or Army are who we use for guarding our stuff outside the US.

The national guard deploys overseas all the time, but not for embassy security.

Federal Title 10 missions are authorized to deploy National Guard worldwide.
