I know that actual camping involves millions of midgies, wet socks that don't dry and grtting back pain from sleeping on uneven ground so it doesn't work for me but I still enjoy cute girls doing the nice bits of camping ๐ธ
It doesn't have to be like that! You just gotta show up with wool socks and a decent sleeping pad. It's a lot easier if you don't try to hike everything in.
The midges will vary by campsite.
Water resistant hiking boots help tremendously too.
