Just an FYI - there’s currently a celebration on the steps of the Victorian parliament celebrating the end of the Ayatollah and the end of the Iranian terrorist regime. Atmosphere is quite electric, Iranian is expats and ally’s celebrating. Come join to celebrate this positive world event

If I’m not mistaken, the current regime was able to take power in the first place on the back of a movement against the Shah, who US/UK installed via coup.

Oh yeah, the US absolutely fucked it up and I feel bad for the Iranians who have had to live with the consequences for so long, I also agree, I wouldn't have liked to have seen this until there was a credible opposition that could move in and quickly settle things

The Basij as well unless we see a large amount of them switch sides could be a HUGE headache
