Playing The Finals on my Fedora KDE install, the game runs wonderfully under proton, however a recent update added verification to the EAC config file so the workaround I found to make Steam Background Recording work now causes the game to close. Is there another workaround for this?

EDIT: Using Gamescope seems to bypass the issue, however now my mouse cursor won't use the correct theme in the window...

Something like SDL_RENDERER=wayland environment variable (not at computer right now), and make sure to launch the KDE Wayland session, not x11
