Man, the amount of Chinese hate propagated on Lemmy is incredible.

TBF all hate towards China is justified. I used to think they were a tolerable evil, but they've been using their influence to help elect people like Donald Trump, propping up Russia economically during the war, commitring genocides in Xinjiang and Tibet, the hostile millitant occupation of Hong Kong, and supporting dictatorships in Iran, Cuba, Indonesia, etc.
Recently they rushed the contrsuctions of a mostly underground military city 10x the size of the pentagon in only 8 months, but were caught via satellite images. Only hell knows what they're planning.
Clearly China is not a tolerable evil. China is a threat to mankind.
So far that sounds exactly like what every other major power with the capability has done in the past or continues to do.
You're saying that the USA helped put Xi Jinping or Vladimir Putin in power?
At the end of the day there are two major powers on earth: Authoritarians and Everyone Else. China is the key player in the former.
They came to power despite US trying to influence and overthrow their countries
It's not Chinese hate if China did a better job at quality control. They only have themselves to blame. It's nearly as bad as American Made products. Or Amazon Basics.
