That may all be true, but I still want the Iranian people to be free from their oppressors.
And if we are going to make excuses for terrible regimes, then we might as well give Israel the same get out of jail free card because the only reason they have become what they have become is because they have been hunted and pushed out of close to every country they have lived in, including the territory that is currently named Israel. They have not been accepted in the middle east and have been attacked since the beginning.
But unlike you I'm not gonna use that history to justify their current behavior and disregard for human life. They are responsible for their war crimes in the same way the regime in Iran is responsible for their crimes and genocide against their own people.
No amount of victimhood on history justifies their conduct and I want the Iranian people to be free.
Would you trade their oppression for an even worse one. Are you fine with America and Israel making the decision like so many nations have done so before.
Iran has had no less than three coups in the 20th century and major powers such as the US have been heavily involved with several regime changes
Are you advocating that this has been good for Iran and it needs a nation to bomb, to invade, and replace their leadership. Do you think they have no right to self determination.
No one is making excuses for their shitty regime with large amounts executions being their most reprehensible actions. Not to mention massive social oppression like what is happening right now.
I don't think that anything positive is going to come from Trump and Netanyahu murdering more innocents. Are we really saying that the only way forward is to allow the US to fuck with their country another time now?
