A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

A zero-tolerance policy for bigotry of any kind. Failure to respect this will result in a ban.

1 Understand the left starts at anti-capitalism.

3 No capitalist apologia, anti-socialism, or liberalism, liberalism is in direct conflict with the left. Support for capitalism or for the parties or ideologies that uphold it are not welcome or tolerated.

4 No imperialism, conservatism, reactionism or Zionism, lessor evil rhetoric. Dismissing 3rd party votes or 'wasted votes on 3rd party' is lessor evil rhetoric.

5 No bigotry, no racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any type of prejudice.

6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

I haven't seen any models that seem to work well that don't have some sort of capitalism as the foundation. I'd love to live in the Star Trek universe where money doesn't even exist, but I don't think it would work well in practice.

Might have to do with the US Government, Military and CIA working to make them fail (Venezuela and Cuba are 2 examples that come to mind from this year only)

If it didn't seem to work, the US wouldn't be expending billions of dollars every year to ensure that it didn't work. If it was a failure, the US would have to do nothing and it would have collapsed in on itself decades ago.

Market economy ≠ capitalism. Once you understand the difference, the solution becomes obvious.

Letting supply and demand set prices does not mean you have to then use profits to concentrate capital, right?
