The place I take my indigenous american history course has light fixtures with feather and sickle emblems that look very much like a hammer and sickle. Any significance to this? I can't find any information online.

It is especially strange because this campus is the last place I would expect to have communist symbolism of any kind.

Super interesting! I have seen feather and hammer, and I have seen feather (quill) and sickle and hammer, and I have seen sickle and grain, but I haven't seen feather and sickle. And you're right, searches aren't coming up with anything. Intriguing
