It’s been a while since I last posted but after a while I decided to come back and post! Anyways, what have you all been playing lately? I’ve gotten into Fallout 4 (sucks that they got rid of the mods and 99.9% of creation club) and Nba 2k26, I know that it’s the same game every year but I buy it once every 5 years and just try to get a kick out of beating the Dallas Mavericks (owned by Miriam Adleson)

Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon and Total Conflict Resistance.

Tainted Grail is a dark fantasy RPG. It's like if Skyrim was set in the Dark Souls universe. The armor is also very reminiscent of a Souls game and is some of the best looking armor I've ever seen in an RPG. I will admit it does also have a lot of the jank of Skyrim as well but I don't mind it too much.

Total Conflict is a global strategy game that lets you directly control units (a la Mount and Blade, Dynasty Warriors). It's in early access and there is a lot that needs to be worked on but it scratches a few itches for me. I had been looking for a modern global strategy game that also lets you control units directly and this game has that. Plus, you can play as (made up) countries that are explicitly socialist/communist. The game also gives background for these imaginary countries that explains their history and how they became socialists etc. and I think that's pretty cool.
