I dunno if it was coincidence or Robert Patrick took that lesson to heart, but he later went on to play Col Ryan in an excellent show called The Unit. As a special forces command officer he makes it VERY clear on multiple occasions just how important the Posse Comitatus Act is and why it should be respected
