I have my suspicions about its historical accuracy based on my college being notoriously conservative and my professor being an anticommunist. I was wondering if anyone here had read it or knew of a review that dissects its sourcing. I don't have the time to heavily investigate this book unfortunately.

I'd also like to know, heard about it from someones dad who is into history but is maga, but also was in a relationship with someone who's poc, ethnic, idk... Doesn't really matter now that he's been kicked to the curb for cheating, and for some reason hes got a hammer sic tat.

Hearing what I had it sounded like it failed because of the reactionaries that where trapped on the island and or corruption from the soldiers tasked with resupply. Idk though and I'm not sure I'd be given a fair interpretation or framing of it from Mr maga communism
