European countries are taking their broadest swipe yet at social media, with a growing number weighing bans of the services for minors and setting the stage for a new showdown with some of the biggest US companies.

Um, I mean 18+19 legally aren't minors, but yes, 13-17 are, by definition, kids.

Social media for the last decade has proven to cause addiction, depression, anxiety, and more in underdeveloped brains like those of kids-specifically teens.
