Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Not NSFW..... But otherwise in this context, the animated movie Hoodwinked was such a fun movie. Don't know why it has such average reviews.
I've never seen anybody say that movie is bad. No idea how that aggregates into the reviews either.
Times have changed. I first watched Speed Racer AFTER, both Animated Spiderverse movies and Kpop demon hunters.
Speed Racer is amazing (am willing to put it ABOVE Into the Spiderverse.) But since it came out in 2008. The same year as The Dark Knight, and just before the rise of the MCU, audiences went ready for the over the top animation style of over-the-top action comedy.
Release Hoodwinked now, and I'm 98% sure it would be in reviewers top 10 of the year
One complaint. Not happy they chose Andy Dick to be in it, but at least they made him the bad guy so little kids who watched could dislike him! Watched it more than once and would again.
Still my favorite 'jacked up'/caffeinated squirrel scene, with Over the Hedge being a close 2nd.
A bit off topic but I find it more and more difficult figuring out if I will like a movie basted on reviews alone, as when I'll check the metrics it will be a thousand 1s and four hundred 10s.
I've heard childrens' movies don't get good scores because they don't cater to reviewers.
