people rarely acknowledge the fact that it was republicans who prevented the bullshit attempt on 1/6/2021, namely pence and mitch mcconnell, both sacks of absolute shit, but they actually chose the law over trump
this time, there is nothing. no one. literally nothing any D says or does matters, because laws are meaningless when no one enforces them, or when the people who are supposed to be enforcing them are the ones who are breaking them (as it is right now)
I just mean if the president wants to be able to un-citizen citizens then we need a new legal tool to un-president the president.
congress and the judiciary have proven ineffective.
the final check and balance is the people.
impeachment doesn't work. i'm especially against assassination as a tool as it tends to make the best people not want the position of leader.
we need a new legal tool for removing tyrants. and it needs to be vote with your phone or use of technology to back off these iphone facial recognition fascists.
we have that: the 25th amendment. but again, "legal tools" amount to nothing when those laws aren't enforced
That's what the second amendment was supposed to be for.
Let’s be honest though, McConnell was just pissed that somebody had taken over his long con coup and was fucking it up. He just wanted to get control back while he could.
