Depends on how old they are. Almost every male I know went through a brief Libertarian phase somewhere between the ages of 13 to 22, that tended to last weeks to a couple years. Its an issue when they don't grow out of it and they are older than 22 and it lasts longer than a couple years.

Libertarianism sounds good from an elevator pitch. Usually it starts, ends or is fully comprised of arguments about ending the war on drugs or not paying taxes. I mean who likes taxes? It's only when you get around to actually thinking about it that it falls apart when you realize that things like roads, emergency medical care and whatnot are a necessity.
