Cool change is making its way across the Geelong plains. Should be here soon.
Glad i decided not to head back to melbs. Currently 24 here in queenscliff. Got to about 40-ish but felt a lot cooler next to the ocean.
The WSW / soon to be SSW is bringing a lot of smoke from the otways though.
I am about to finish work and head home. Fingers crossed I survive

I can confirm it has gone down 1Β° in the last hour here.
My backyard max/min thermometer has gone down from 45 deg to 40 deg. Still bloody hot though.
The wind has increased in my hood, maybe has dropped a couple degrees but still very hot. I think itβs going to be a gradual cooldown tonight.
I can feel it already
I'll have to wait a bit, being further north. Bummer.
