Yeah, Apple doesn't need your money to guarantee development and they already know how many phones they're going to sell.
My partner and I both have Clicks keyboards on RAZR phones, and we have the same complaint: the camera placement stops this from making the phone 100% useable in closed mode.
Heck, I actually broke my inside screen and it took two weeks before I had to replace it since i was able to do everything i use my phone for on the outside (using Bluetooth for calls).
