I want them. Give me yours. Why does Hollywood continue to give him roles? What dirt does he have?
He keeps starring in bombs, he's an actual cult leader, he's a dogshit actor, he's apparently a terrible hang and he's a terrible colleague, so why does he still show up in shit?

Elijah Wood Face. I've never watched an Elijah Wood film because he's a particularly good actor. He isn't a bad one, but he isn't a standout one. The only reason Elijah Wood gets such prominent roles is that he has a kitty-cri face. You put him in a cowboy hat and he's kitty-cri-texas. Dress him like a potato and he's kitty-cri-potato. He physically conveys vulnerability and innocence so you can stick him into any role where that's the character you want. Macaulay Culkin and Danny DeVito had similar careers based on having a hyper-specific look.

The one Jared Leto role I liked was in Requiem for a Dream. The only other tolerable one was in Blade Runner 2049. In the first, his performance is mostly good because of his face. It's the same kind of charismatic vulnerability that makes an effective cult leader. In Blade Runner, it's a similar kind of facially-driven performance that they highlight even more by giving him sad robot eyes. You hire Jared Leto when you want melancholy but you can't get an actor who conveys that through their acting.

I dunno, his role in American Psycho was solid

He was great at being a guy Christian Bale hacked apart

Wish he'd gone method for it

I'm pretty sure he got his role in Fight Club for having a punchable face

I thought he was good in Tron: Ares, but that's because his character is an AI program that wants to be human.
