Rules:

Posts must be about bugs¹, unrelated posts will be removed
Do not incite hate or violence towards ANY animal species. This will get you banned.
If a post grosses you out, you don't have to announce it.
Posts with images of injured or sick bugs or discussing harm towards bugs are allowed, however, they must have an appropriate CW in the title. Again, do not encourage harm towards bugs or other animals.
Just don't be a dick pls.

Other animals may count as honorary bugs as well.

My favorites are bumblebees and jumping spiders, cute little critters!

Praying mantis are fun to play with if you come across them. They can be really inquisitive and will happily accept "gifts" if you give them a grasshopper or a fly. They're absolutely brutal when they eat.

I caught one as a kid. Kept it for about a day and then released it. I fed it a grasshopper and it removed the head. Very cool experience overall.
