!nostupidquestions is a community dedicated to being helpful and answering each others' questions on various topics.
The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:

On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.
If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.
Rule 7- You can't intentionally annoy, mock, or harass other members.
If you intentionally annoy, mock, harass, or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.
Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

It's been over a decade.
These aren't confused people anymore.
They. Are. Traitors.
They are traitors who will do anything, up to and including electing a felon rapist insurrectionist who regularly violates the Constitution and sends a masked unaccountable secret police force to harass and murder Americans, in order to get what they want.
That's not confusion. That's malicious intent.
If you want to know how to make traitors stop being traitors. If you want to know how to make fascists stop being fascists. Well, I'm not totally sure I wouldn't get banned for the answer. I definitely would on Reddit.
Those of us who passed our history classes have been trying for a decade to get people to help vote us in the opposite direction of this. That didn't work. Now it's happening and there's no easy way out of this.
What can one do at this point?
Buy a gun. Or two. Train. Help others buy and train. Many people just need that little push from someone that knows more about the process than them. It's a whole hell of a lot more difficult to oppress people who are armed to the teeth. Just watched a video of armed protestors in Philadelphia. The cops show up, try to get them to stand down. They don't. The cops end up leaving. There's your proof.
Hold conservatives in your life accountable however you see fit. If that means cutting them off, that means cutting them off.
Fight misinformation wherever you see it by correcting it with facts. Even if it seems pointless. You aren't commenting for the benefit of the piece of shit you're trying to correct. You're commenting for the other people that end up reading it and learning from it.
Read the CIA's "Simple Sabotage" handbook, which is available online. Do anything in it that you can reasonably do, ESPECIALLY if you work for the federal government.
Support and protect your neighbors, assuming they aren't conservatives. Do not aid or abet any conservative in any way, shape, or form. Do your due diligence and make sure any business you're spending your money with doesn't have conservative ties. Google the owner's name and check their social media. Make sure they aren't conservative.
Vote. Every. Single. Time. In every election, no matter how small.
How did we get 40s Germany to stop being so Nazi? We all know what has to happen.
