Does Piefed provide an RSS feed of your saved posts?

I used this a lot in the old place and was hoping for it on Lemmy. However, the Lemmy devs decided it was not required or appropriate functionality when I asked them why the RSS feed link didn’t work under a Lemmy account Saved page and planned on removing it.

If Piefed doesn’t provide this today, is there somewhere I can request it?

I don't believe this is currently a feature in PieFed, but I don't see why it couldn't be really. Just so long as you are aware that any rss feed made by PieFed is basically public. We can stick a long random string in the url, but there isn't any authorization built into the rss that I am aware of.

You can make an issue over on the PieFed codeberg repository.

Thanks!

Yes, this is how it worked on Reddit as well. To me, this isn’t exactly private information. It’s a collection of already public posts. But that’s just my opinion.

We’ll see what happens with the request.
