As a Beatles fan from probably 4yo or so, they'll always have a special place in the music of my heartstrings. And while I don't listen to them much anymore, maybe I'm amazed that their songs are so locked in to my little head that I don't need to, anymore. Or so I flatter myself, hah.

Yellow Submarine was one of their two critically-acclaimed movies, and I greatly appreciate how in late 2016, LEGO published a set! (officially LEGO Ideas #21306) Let's take a closer look...

It seems the count was 553 pieces, and was retired in late 2017, for a publishing run of ~one year. Going by Ebay, sets seem to go for anywhere from ~US$150 used to ~US$250 sealed in box. Altho I'm guessing there might be some tomfoolery involved in some of those sets, who knows?

I got this set for my wife in 2016. She is not a LEGO fan, but she loves watching me build. She built the entire set herself, and one a few tears were involved. It still sits in part of our entertainment center.

As far as secondary market prices, I always look to bricklink. $225 is the current lowest priced new sealed.
