Technically Native American religions would be “Pagan” religions if Europe had contact with the Americas at that point. But paganism related more to the historical event of the European Crusades.
But don’t forget that Europe had no contact with the Americas during the period that the European crusades were occurring, and there would be no contact for centuries, (like 700-400 years). So religions in other parts of the world were not affected or focused on.
Something in me doubts a Tuetonic Crusader in 1200 would know what a Native American is, or what a “Shintoist” is, or a “Buddhist”.
Paganism is just the umbrella that Christianity created that encompassed hundreds of religions that were completely unrelated and just happens to exist in the same continent.
